I like to work collaboratively with clients who come to see me. I see my clients as fellow human beings with their own answers and ability to grow and change. I am totally committed to my work, and to improving the quality of my client`s lives. The sessions are usually scheduled weekly at the same day and time. This emphasis on regularity, timing, and continuity is an important aspect of the therapeutic process.

For many years now I have also been a Snr member of The Royal Society of Medicine and attend various seminars there. With my own medical background, it feels important for me to continue integrating both fields in one of the country`s major providers of postgraduate education.

The importance of having knowledge of how the body functions or malfunctions, have been of immense value in my practice work.
I help clients to approach their bodies with curiosity and understanding rather than anxiety regarding their aches and pains. Just noticing how one is feeling, paying closer attention to what can trigger us and why, opens a gateway to a new and clearer understanding of ourselves our minds and our bodies.

We now know and are beginning to more fully understand how experiences effect our development. Some of the lasting impacts of this can result in an inability to form and maintain intimate relationships. It has been a relef to some of my clients who gain a deeper understanding of why things are the way they are, rather than constantly berating themselves for their shortcomings.
